Mother's Day Tea 2017

We had Mother's Day Tea with Connor's school the week before Mother's Day.  The kids put on a program for us, made us different art projects and we had cupcakes with them.  Such a fun afternoon!!

AWANA Awards

These two went to Awana every Wednesday last school year.  They both finished their books and got awards at the Awana Awards night!!

 

 

 

 

Opening Day Softball & Baseball

Opening day softball and baseball was an all day event for us.  We went to softball opening day first, then went to baseball's opening day, then pictures for both and then Elli played her first game.  It was absolutely freezing the entire day!

Kindergarten Open House

This year, Kindergarten open house was on my birthday!  I kept giving Connor a hard time telling him that I had to do the one thing I didn't want to do (start the process of sending him to Kindergarten) on my birthday :)  He was so excited and we all even got to take a sample bus ride!  

What's ironic is out of the 8 (yes, 8!!) Kindergarten classrooms, I took a picture of this one.  And Connor got placed in this classroom for this school year.  This is a picture of Emery (and Connor) in our friend (and his teacher), Diane's classroom.  Emery was insistent all night that she was also going to Kindergarten and also going to ride the bus!
