Colts Game

This past Sunday, Scott and I took Elli and Connor to the Colts game.  We wanted to go to one this year and when we looked at our schedule, we realized this is the only one we would probably be able to make happen.  We were hoping to make it to the FCA game; however, Connor is having his Christmas Program that afternoon/early evening.

We made it to the beginning of the 4th quarter and then decided to leave because Elli had school the next morning.  Unfortunately, we missed an exciting quarter, but we still had a lot of fun at the game! It was my first one at Lucas Oil!

Connor's first day of Pre-K

Connor started a 4-day Pre-K program at the beginning of September.  This is his first year at his new school and he seems to love it!  He has already made friends in his class and looks forward to going each day.  He brings home 2 different books that he has to work on each week and he has show and tell every Wednesday.  He goes to school from 9:15-1:15 Tuesday - Friday and we will probably extend his Fridays to 3:00 after the holidays.

Parent's Day Out

Emery is attending a Parent's Day Out every Tuesday morning from 9:15-1:15 this year.  I was a little nervous on how she would do, but she loves it!  She walks right in to her class in the morning and always gets a great report at the end of the day.  Emery is always pretty excited to carry her backpack!  Her first day of school, she was convinced she was riding Elli's bus to school and started walking to get on the bus!
Emery wouldn't put her backpack down the day before school and had to take it everywhere!

Kings Island 2016

We went to Kings Island for the 3rd year in a row the day before Labor Day.  The kids had a blast and we were all exhausted by the time we got home!

Elli and Kensley weren't extremely impressed by these slow moving cars!

Emery loved this ride!  She giggled the whole time!

I loved watching Em ride all the rides that she was big enough to ride.  She loved these bumper cars!
Waiting for her ice cream....she just couldn't last any longer!  She took about a 20 minute nap and then passed out on the way home!

Purdue Game

We had a busy labor day weekend, which started out with the Purdue game on Saturday to celebrate Dane's birthday.  The day included the game, ice cream, play time at a park and dinner.  The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and sat surprisingly well during the game!  Emery made it the whole day without a nap and did really well!
