We took the kids to Boo at the Zoo a few weekends ago. I was really excited, as we had never been and it is a popular event around here during the month of October. The kids had a good time, but other than getting a few pieces of candy, it was like any other trip to the zoo. We do love our zoo and I'm thankful to live so close to the one the that we do!
Petting Zoo- we have to do this every time!
First time playing with the boat! We'll have to do this every visit from here on out….Connor can't resist a wheel!
And the carousel…..
We decided at the last minute last week that we should carve some pumpkins! What we didn't realize is that all the big pumpkins would be sold out! Luckily, we were able to make do with what we had- the small pumpkins!
We decided to use a drill for one of the pumpkins. Both kids wanted to help….
And then it was taking forever, so I had them put their hands up like they were on a roller coaster while Daddy finished!
You can't tell, but Connor's is a scary ghost….it actually turned out pretty well!
We were able to squeeze in a little bit of trick-or-treating around a neighborhood close to our townhouse. The weather conditions weren't great, so we only lasted for about 30 minutes and then surprised our friends by showing up at their house to trick-or-treat. The kids got special treatment there and got to grab handfuls of candy!

The 2 Ariels!!
Riding in the wagon!
Taking 6 kids, 4 and under trick-or-treating is no easy task. Does the below look chaotic? Because it was….
Ariel and Maddy before trick-or-treating!
Superman and Maddy- He only likes to hold her for 5 seconds….literally….as soon as you put her on his lap he's done!
Happy 4th Birthday Kensley! And happy belated Halloween to everyone else!!
