At the beginning of April, we went to Florida for Spring Break. We drove down to Orlando and stayed with our friends, Kelli and Garrett, and their two kids. Our kids had a great time playing with theirs and we were all sad to leave each other when we had to go. We went to Legoland the day after we got there.
It was an exhausting day, but we always love spending time with their family.
After leaving Orlando, we headed south to Siesta Key to stay with my parents for the remainder of the week. The kids had a great time! Emery was in love with the beach the first day, but ended catching a virus and had a fever for a few days. Unfortunately, she spent the remainder of the week fighting off the virus. She was still able to go to the pool and beach, but was pretty whiney while there.
We ended renting a boat one morning and the kids loved riding around on it. We got to see a lot of dolphins. They are still talking about all the dolphins they saw....especially Emery. She often tells me she dreams about them at night :)
On our way back to Indiana, we stopped by my aunt and uncle's house. The kids loved seeing Grace and Adison and it was a good break in the trip home!
We love Siesta Key and can't wait to go back!
