Phone Pictures

The last 2 weeks didn't turn out the way we had thought they'd go. Both kiddos ended up getting sick at the beginning of last week and we are still fighting it off!

We have been to the dr. a couple times for Connor and will go back for a final appointment on Tuesday. Connor has bronchiolitis, RSV, and an ear infection. With breathing treatments a couple times a day, a steroid, and antibiotic, he is finally starting to get better. We are currently struggling with getting food down him, as he doesn't seem interested at all in taking any bottles. He goes back to the dr. on Tuesday for them to check his ear to make sure the infection is gone (they wanted to get him in before we left for Florida since we are flying).

Connor's breathing treatments used to put him to sleep, but now they just make him hyper! I was thinking that we would no longer need them after yesterday; however, he started wheezing and breathing quickly again today. Hopefully soon we will no longer need these treatments.....the little guy does great when he is getting them!
We initially thought Elli was worse off than Connor. She was down for the count at least 2 days with a fever, running/stuffed up nose, and bad cough. Her cough is finally starting to go away. The above picture is her around 6:00 in the evening. She had just woken up from a 4 hour sleep about an hour before this picture was taken. Scott was getting Connor ready for bed and the next thing we knew Elli was already asleep on the floor! We hurried around and got her to bed....I think both kids were in bed by 6:30 for the night.

Although the kids have been sick, we've still managed to get out of the house some and enjoy this nice weather....

Look how cute this little guy is in his baseball hat....
And we've enjoyed some painting....
Elli was saying "cheese" in the above picture and making a silly face in the picture below!
Notice her little ponytail?? Her hair is finally growing!

Here is an update on potty training: Elli has done GREAT! Typically she goes on her own and the only time we need to remind her to go is before we are leaving the house. She doesn't like to go in public and usually holds it, but I did get her to go at church yesterday after MOPs. We're still putting a diaper on during naptime and bedtime. Soon we will probably leave her panties on during her nap because she has been up dry when she wakes up with the exception of going number 2 (which is her normal time to go). We can't believe how great she is doing and how easy it was....she was definitely ready! Good for you, El!!
